CNC Machined Components

Our workshop is equipped with a wide range of CNC equipment including Wire and Spark eroders, CNC turning and Milling centres, presses and grinders. This choice of equipment allows us to machine complex 3 dimensional shapes to exacting levels of accuracy and finish. We utilise our 5 station Cam/Cad computer system which is directly linked to our CNC machines.

Jigs & Fixtures

We design and manufacture jigs and fixtures so it takes some of the skill out of your production. A properly designed and constructed jig or fixture means you can maintain accurate production while using less skilled operatives.

Moulds & 3D Milling

Our new machining centres and erosion machines enable us to machine complex 3D shapes and moulds. This is particularly useful for businesses requiring prototype parts prior to manufacture.

Erosion Department

Our erosion department consists of 3 CNC wire eroders, one CNC and one manual spark eroder enabling us to machine complex shapes from any material that carries a current.

Press Tools and Dies

We manufacture press tools for many different industries, and dies for most industrial applications including the plastics and rubber industry. We will manufacture to your drawing, or we can design the tooling from your finished product if required.

Pressed Components

With a selection of Presses rated from 5 to 100 tonnes IMS can produce pressed components ranging from simple stampings to complex shapes. We also specialise in the design and manufacture of purpose made tools. For example – you tell us what you require and leave the rest to our expert team.

Welding

We have Mig, Tig and Arc welding capabilities which means that we are able to weld most materials.

Special Purpose Machines

We have been involved in manufacturing specialist machinery for many businesses. These are individual machines designed specifically for the production or testing of our clients products.
